trainer LINDSEY WITH A PUPPY FROM ONE OF OUR PUPPY SOCIALS.

“The primary and most important time for puppy socialization is the first three months of life. During this time puppies should be exposed to as many new people, animals, stimuli and environments as can be achieved safely and without causing overstimulation manifested as excessive fear, withdrawal or avoidance behavior. For this reason, the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior believes that it should be the standard of care for puppies to receive such socialization before they are fully vaccinated.”

Our trainers and staff will now be offering drop off Puppy Day Camp. Led by Lindsey, who has been working at Club K-9 since August of 2018 and has completed the Karen Pryor Academy’s “Dog Training Foundations” course, as well as been running our puppy socials for over 2 years. We will also be offering private training sessions with Lisa on select days!

Each trainer or assistant trainer will be working with puppies each day, working on exposure to novel objects, surfaces, sounds, appropriate play & breaks from their playmates, as well as building a good foundation with basic manners! This program provides structured play and training throughout the day broken up with time to relax and work on crate training with enrichment!
